SoundRise Live LLP ("Soundrise") is a community-forward initiative seeking to create space for live music to thrive. Soundrise organizes live music concerts at public parks, and other indoor and outdoor venues, the entry to and enjoyment of which is open to all and is a combination of free and ticketed events.

Do note that any participation in a Soundrise concert in any capacity whatsoever, including as a viewer, a patron, a guest, an artist, accompanying the artist, or even a passerby, is governed by and subject to the following terms & conditions. Your presence at a Soundrise event shall be construed as implied acceptance of the following terms & conditions which may be updated from time to time at Soundrise's discretion.

Soundrise organizes live concerts to promote live music across genres as a community-building initiative ("Soundrise event"). Each person attending and/or participating in any manner at a Soundrise event, including the artists, does so at his/her/their own cost and consequence.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS & ID POLICY

• Certain events may require valid government-issued identification at entry.

• Attendees below the legal drinking age will not be served alcohol.

• SoundRise reserves the right to deny entry to anyone displaying unsafe or disruptive behaviour.

LATE ENTRY POLICY

• Late entry may be restricted depending on the format of the event, especially during seated performances or listening room experiences.

PHOTOGRAPHY & RECORDING POLICY

• By attending a SoundRise event, attendees consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional and archival purposes. These recordings and photographs may be posted on Soundrise's (or their collaborator/partner/sponsor's) social media platforms. Soundrise will ensure that no personal details are divulged without permission, and no personal accounts will be tagged without explicit permission. Attendance at a Soundrise event constitutes automatic consent for these recordings and photographs to be shared on the aforementioned social media platforms.

• If you would prefer not to appear in photographs or videos, please speak to a member of the team at the venue.

• Photography and videography are encouraged, being mindful, at all times, of the intellectual property rights of both Soundrise and the artists. Thus, any social media posting of the same shall only be made providing due credit to Soundrise and the artists in question. No work shall be passed off, in any manner as being one's own. Soundrise and the artists retain the right to seek such action under law and tort against any person breaching this obligation.

EVENT CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS

• Event schedules, artist lineups and venues are subject to change.

• In case of major changes, attendees will be informed through official SoundRise communication channels.

LIABILITY DISCLAIMER

• Attendees participate in SoundRise events at their own risk.

• SoundRise is not liable for personal injury, loss, theft or damage occurring at event venues unless caused directly by proven negligence

• Soundrise does not commit to maintain, provide or ensure the security of the artist(s), their equipment, their accompaniments, the crowd, the other patrons at the venue and/or any person – whether legal or natural (including animals), at any Soundrise event.

DETAILED LIABILITY EXCLUSIONS LIST

Soundrise shall not, in any manner, be responsible for any act of commission or omission at a Soundrise event arising out of or in connection with:
Any criminal act of whatever description that caused and/or instigated and/or continued and/or defended by any person (including animals) present at a Soundrise event. To be clear, the word 'person' here includes the artists, those accompanying the artists in any capacity whatsoever, persons manning stalls/pop-ups present and their patrons, and even a passerby who is physically present in the same venue as the Soundrise event.
Any unruly behaviour of the crowd at the Soundrise event;
Any heckling/discouraging behaviour of the crowd at the Soundrise event;
The quality of the artists brought by Soundrise and the quality of the music. While Soundrise strives to bring a wide variety of high-quality artists at our events, we cannot guarantee the quality of the artists and/or their music or performance. We recognize music is subjective and that everyone's tastes may differ.
Any damage to the equipment and/or the instruments of the artists, whether willful, collateral or accidental.
The presence and/or carrying and/or usage of illegal and banned substances such as drugs, alcohol, weapons and so on. Soundrise however reserves its right to intimate the authorities if they become aware of the presence of such illegal and banned substances.
People engaging in unbecoming and/or prohibited public behaviour, including unnatural physical displays of affection, showing or indulging in pornography, eve-teasing, catcalling etc.
Any theft of property from or during a Soundrise event;
Any injury to the artists performing by any member of the crowd or the public present at a Soundrise event;
Any other act of commission or omission that is outside Soundrise's reasonable control, given the free-for-all, no-security nature of the event

NON-DISPARAGEMENT CLAUSE

All those who engage with Soundrise and/or a Soundrise event, in any form, including, but not limited to, as an audience, vendor, partner, artist, performer, observer, passer-by, social media follower, employee, contractor, consultant etc. (collectively called a 'user'), agree that they shall not make any negative, defamatory and/or disparaging comments about Soundrise, its events, artists, crew, venue, vendor or event partners, audience, arrangements etc. in any forum, whether public or private or online or offline, including on any form of social media. This non-disparagement clause shall apply indefinitely. In the event any user has any complaints or concerns regarding a Soundrise event, they can address their communication via a Direct Message (DM) to Soundrise's Instagram profile. Any violation of this non-disparagement clause shall entitle Soundrise to seek such protective action against the disparaging user as advised, entirely at such disparaging user's costs and consequences.

ARTIST DONATION CLAUSE

At Soundrise events, our artists often generously donate their time and talent to perform, without receiving payment for their services. While donations to the artists are not mandatory, we encourage guests to show their appreciation and support by donating to the artists, at donation boxes placed at the event and/or using the QR code available at the event to transmit digital payments. Your contribution will help us continue to bring exceptional live music experiences to our community.
